Slow Traffic Environment Promotion Strategy in Traditional Commercial Center of Megacities
The slow traffic system of traditional commercial centers in megacity has the dual functions of traffic passage and public activities,which is not only the carrier of traffic passage,but also the carrier of public life of citizens and the carrier of urban style display.Slow traffic needs to integrate with street space,facility elements,block culture and landscape environment.In this way,the slow space environment can be effectively improved,then activating the vitality of commercial blocks.Taking Dongmen Road in Dongmen Business District of Shenzhen as an example,this paper expounds the main methods and contents of slow traffic improvement,and puts forward the improvement plan from space release allocation,traffic organization optimization,facility fine design,and supporting landscape improvement.
