Exploration and Thinking of the MaaS Model for the Last-mile Travel in Industrial Parks
To alleviate the traffic congestion, there arose a new concept of transportation in city—Mobility as a service(MaaS for short). The essence of the MaaS is summarized and the positioning of the last-mile connectivity MaaS within the public transportation system is elaboratesd. To facilitate the implementation of the last-mile MaaS,typical industrial regions in Shanghai are analyzed, their positioning are summarized, the commuting patterns of employees within the parks are explored through the mobile signaling data. From the perspective of the transportation services required by the industrial regions, the pain points of the last-mile mobility challenges are considered. This paper proposes implementation strategies and paths based on the MaaS concept to meet the needs of scenarios such as"customized sharing for peak commuting"and"quality travel on demand during non-peak hours".These strategies and paths aim to address the pain points of last-mile transportation in industrial regions, optimize the business environment of the industrial regions, and contribute to the construction of green and low-carbon industrial regions.
