Transportation Accessibility and Distribution Characteristics of Spectators in Large-and-medium-sized Theatres in Shanghai
Under the backdrop of accelerated development of theatre construction,taking Shanghai as an example with its goal of building the"Asian Capital of Performing Arts",based on the development and spatial distribution characteristics of large-and-medium-sized theatres in Shanghai,from the perspective of the trip chain using ArcGIS tools,the accessibility of urban rail transit,public transit and private motor transportation are analyzed for 34 large-and-medium-sized theatres in Shanghai.The distribution characteristics of theatre spectators are investigated and studied,and the transportation distribution strategies for large-and-medium-sized theaters in metropolitan areas are also prospected,which have provided a certain reference for the planning,site selection,and supporting facility construction of large-and-medium-sized theatres in China.
