A New Species of Hygrophoropsis(Boletales,Basidiomycota)from Qinling Mountains in China
The Qinling Mountains in China is well known to have rich biodiversity where a lot of macrofungi resources are remaining to be exploited. In this study,a new macrofungi species growing in Qinling Mountains from genus Hygrophoropsis, named as the H.ningshanica,is descripted in detail.Morphological characterization combining with the phylogenetic analysis indicate that H.ningshanica belongs to the H.aurantiaca complex. The new species reveals its characteristics of fruiting body fully in orange color, decurrent gills and basidiospores in shapes of ellipsoid or long ellipsoid with a size of 5.5-6.5 × 3.5-4.0 μm but without reactions to the dextrin. Results from phylogenetic analyses using ITS and LSU sequences and scientific pictures revealing its morphological characteristics of H.ningshanica are presented within the paper.Discussions on the features of new species differing from its similar species are also carried out.
