Resource Survey for Macrofungi in Qilian Mountain National Nature Reserve Area
A total of 3 034 macrofungi specimens were obtained from the Qilian Mountain National Nature Reserve district, which belonged to four classes,13 orders,36 families,80 genera, and 214 species including 63 species of edible fungi,40 species of medicinal fungi, and 27 species of poisonous fungi. The α diversity analysis of macrofungi at taxonomic classification levels revealed a presence of high richness and high species uniformity of fungal species in this area.On the basis of fieldwork,a fungal resource conservation system consisting of one herbarium and five banks was established by our research team. The fungal herbarium was used to store all of the 3 034 specimens. The five banks were used for storage of strain materials and data information,on the other hand, including strain bank(79 strains derived from 30 kinds of macrofungi with the economic importance),tissue bank(1 573 dried fungal tissues),gene bank(357 DNA samples with their ITS sequences),compound bank(163 fat-soluble components with their chromatogram data obtained from three kinds of macrofungal),and comprehensive information bank(detailed information of 3 034 specimens in relation to the number, collection date and location, collector, photo, dried fungal tissue, strain,Chinese name,Latin name, geographic location such as longitude,latitude,altitude,etc.).
