Investigation of Armillaria Fungal Resources in Changbai Mountain Area
Armillaria is a representative wild fungus in Changbai Mountain area of Jilin, with greatly importance of edible, medicinal, economic, and ecological values.Investigation and species identification of Armillaria were carried out within this area by sample investigation and random inspection. The results showed that there were 5 Aimillaria species in Changbai Mountain, namely A.borealis,A.gallica,A.cepistipes,A.sinapina,and Armillaira sp.,in which A.borealis was the species newly discovered in Jilin Province.A.gallica was the dominant species identified in the Changbai Mountain area.Investigation of distribution patterns of the species with three different types of forests indicated, furthermore, that Armillaria had the highest species-richness within the mixed coniferous forest as compared with that within the broadleaf forest and coniferous forest. The study provides theoretical and practical basis for the future development and utilization of Armillaria resources.
