The Status and Progress of Straw-Edible Mushroom Industry in China
Crop straw can serve as excellent raw materials for cultivating edible and medicinal fungi with slight treatment.As a leading agricultural country,China possesses abundant straw resources that provide a robust material foundation for the flourishing development of edible mushroom industry.This study embraces the concept of cycle production of plants,animals and fungi,and combined with the distinctive characteristics of the edible mushroom industry.It elucidates the notion of a straw-edible mushroom industry and delves into its immense potential in utilizing agricultural waste effectively.The ultimate goal is to promote efficient recycling of agricultural resources and thereby achieve environmentally friendly and sustainable development within the edible mushroom industry.
