Species Identification and Content Determination of Phthalate Esters for Four Strains of Gyromitra
To investigate the toxicity of Gyromitra Fr.,species identification for four strains of Gyromitra collected respectively from Xinjiang and Guizhou of China were conducted. Our results showed that they belonged to different species of G.gigas,G.sphaerospora,G.venenata and G.xinjiangensis.Liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry(LC-MS/MS)was used for the detection and quantification of 23 types of phthalate esters(PAEs)compounds in the above four fungal species of Gyromitra.Three toxic and harmful compounds, dibutyl phthalate(DBP),diisobutyl phthalate(DIBP),and di(2-ethylhexyl)phthalate(DEHP),were detected from the four species of Gyromitra.Among them,DBP,DIBP,and DEHP were found in G.gigas,G.xinjiangensis,and G.venenata, while DBP and DIBP were found only in G.sphaerospora.Notably,contents of PAEs compounds detected within all of the four species of Gyromitra exceeded the level of maximum limits from the Chinese regulation standards. The present study gives the detailed descriptions of macroscopic and microscopic characteristics and contents of various types of phthalate ester compounds for the four Gyromitra specimens, which thereafter not only complements the information of morphological features but also provides new insights for the toxicity research of Gyromitra species.
