Analysis of Physical and Chemical Properties of Cultivation Substrates and Their Correlation with Fruiting in Stropharia rugosoannulata
Effects of cultivation substrates and casing materials on the production of Stropharia rugosoannulata were investigated through analysis of physical and chemical factors affecting its fruiting at the present study. Our results showed that the pH value in all kinds of substrates tended to decrease firstly and then increase afterwards along with the time of cultivation.A significant increment of(NH4+-N)was detected at the mushroom fruiting stage while carbohydrates were decreased gradually along with the cultivation time.Correlation network analysis indicated that temperature,C/N ratio, and hemicellulose were the main environmental factors affecting the fruiting of S.rugosoannulata.Covering materials and air permeability within the substrates had a direct relationship with the fruiting time and the fruitbody yield of S.rugosoannulata.The above results thus should provide basic information on the determination of substrate compositions and selection of casing materials, and the regulation of environmental factors as well for the effective cultivation of S.rugosoannulata.
