布迪厄场域理论视角下《梦溪笔谈》在英国的译介与传播

摘要
运用布迪厄场域理论的场域、惯习和资本三个概念,对《梦溪笔谈》的英译与传播进行描述性分析.研究发现,在所涉及的文学场域、翻译场域和出版场域,各参与者比较活动积极,助推了《梦溪笔谈》英译本的译介;而在传播场域,各参与者不够活跃,合力不足,导致《梦溪笔谈》在英国并没有产生预期的影响力.因此,中国科技典籍的海外传播不应割裂翻译与传播之间的联系;翻译不是译者工作的终点,译者还应积极推动科技典籍向海外传播.
Abstract
Based on the three concepts of field,habit and capital of Bourdieu's field theory,this paper makes a descriptive analysis of the English translation and dissemination of Brush Talks from Dream Brook.The study found that in the literature,translation and publishing fields involved,the participants were more active,which contributed to the translation of the English translation of Brush Talks from Dream Brook.In the field of communication,the participants were not active enough and did not work together,resulting in the fact that"Brush Talks from Dream Brook"did not have the expected influence in the UK.Therefore,the overseas dissemination of Chinese scientific and technological classics should not sever the connection between translation and dissemination.Translation is not the end of the translator's work,and the translator should also actively promote the dissemination of scientific and technological classics overseas.
