The art and design major carries out online and offline synchronous teaching activities,which can provide enhanced learning effects,enrich learning resources,promote innovation ability,and adapt to the development needs of the times,which has distinct practical significance for students'development and learning.Based on this,starting from the direction of innovation in the teaching mode of art and design,this paper analyzes the compatibility characteristics of online and offline blended teaching,explores the application of the teaching mode of art and design in colleges and universities,and puts forward scientific and reasonable innovative ideas,in order to continuously improve the teaching quality of art and design.
