Exploration of English Teaching Path of the Open Universities under the Background of Digital Education
The rapid development of artificial intelligence technology has brought new opportunities and challenges to English teaching in open universities.This article analyzes and studies the development path of open university English teaching in the context of digital education from three aspects:opportunities,challenges,and the path to achieving digital English teaching.Among them,opportunities include rich and diverse teaching resources,achieving personalized teaching,optimizing teaching effectiveness,and improving student learning autonomy.The challenges include insufficient digital teaching ability of teachers,uneven information literacy of students,the need to update the teaching quality evaluation system,and the need to further strengthen network security and privacy protection.Based on this,schools should actively enhance the digital teaching ability of teachers,cultivate students' information literacy,improve and innovate the teaching quality evaluation system,and strengthen network security and privacy protection,in order to promote English teaching in open universities to better adapt to the development trend of digital education,and improve the overall quality and effectiveness of English teaching.
