Digital Economy,Knowledge Spillover,and Technological Innovation in Manufacturing Industry
After the in-depth analyzing of the direct mechanism of the digital economy on manufacturing technology innovation,the mediating mechanism of knowledge spillover in the process of promoting manufacturing technology innovation in the digital econ-omy is examined,and empirical tests are conducted using panel data of Chinese provinces from 2013 to 2023.Research finds that since 2013,the level of technological innovation in China's manufacturing industry and the knowledge spillover level of the digital e-conomy have been steadily increasing,while the development level of the digital economy has shown a significant increase from 2018 to 2020.The digital economy has a significant positive and direct promoting effect on technological innovation in the manufacturing industry.There is a significant positive mediating effect of knowledge spillover in the process of promoting manufacturing technology innovation in the digital economy,and the mediating force exhibits an inverted U-shaped feature.
