Research on Safety and Conceptual Design of Civil Nuclear Ship
Due to the advantages of large installed power,clean environmental protection and long range,nuclear ships have been regarded as the key direction of the development of civil ships.In order to analyze the characteristics and development difficulties of civil nuclear ships,this paper analyzes the development status of civil nuclear ships,and then introduces the concept of nuclear ships from the aspects of safety analysis,overall performance criteria,power and propulsion system configuration.Finally,this paper analyzes the reasons that hinder the development of civil nuclear ships from the aspects of technology and economy.
