In this study,high-performance composite cathode ceramic ink made of lanthanum strontium cobalt iron and yttrium tungstate(LSCF-YWO)is created.Using inkjet printing technique with optimized printing parameter, cathode layers with outstanding surface morphology are successfully manufactured. At the same time, the issue of cathode cracking and delamination is resolved, and the peak power density is raised by 2.4 times in comparison to the pure LSCF cathode by balancing the thermal expansion between the cathode and the electrolyte layer.Additionally,a sintering scheme of the cathode layers based on the thermogravimetric curve is developed to prevent the emergence of surface fractures during cathode sintering. The SOFC's power density can be further improved by thickening the cathode layer. At 30 printing layers(15.32 μm),the SOFC's peak power density is 1149.8 mW·cm-2.These results provide an essential experimental guidance for improving the electrochemical performance of SOFCs based on inkjet printing.
