Coal Mining Machine Pin Row Failure Form Analysis and Improvement
Aiming at the frequent failure of the pin row of a coal mining machine in service in a coal enterprise,the simulation calculation of the structural strength of the pin row was carried out with the help of ANSYS finite element simulation and analysis software,including the establishment of three-dimensional model,mesh delineation,setting of material properties,constraints and load application,etc.The results of the calculations show that there is a concentration of stress in the connection between the pin teeth of the pin row and the pin row body,with a value of 233.7 MPa.At the same time,there are different degrees of stress concentration on the meshing surface of the pin teeth,the transition between the pin body and the pin teeth,and the upper part of the two pin holes,which are the main reasons for the failure of the pin row under the effect of alternating loads.Based on the stress concentration of the pin row,the improvement strategy of the pin row is proposed to provide technical reference for the design and processing of the pin row structure.
