Reliability Study of Abaqus Finite Element Simulation Data from Uniaxial Pull-up Tests
With reference to the national standard GB/T 1040.2-2022"Determination of Tensile Properties of Plastics Part 2:Experimental Conditions for Moulded and Extruded Plastics",experimental sheets were fabricated and subjected to tensile testing, and the collected induced displacement and experimental machine load were logarithmically converted to obtain the real stress and real strain parameters required for Abaqus simulation. The material properties were modelled in Abaqus finite element analysis software and boundary conditions of constraints at one end and linear displacements at the other were imposed. The simulated stresses and strains are compared with those collected in the experiment, and it is concluded that Abaqus has a good reproducibility for uniaxial tensile experiment, and the simulation results are closer to the real data, and the stress concentration and fracture point are judged more accurately.
