一种新型六自由度FDM打印机结构方案设计

FDM技术(熔融层积成型技术)作为制造业企业运用最广泛的一项关键技术,在打印悬空、复杂几何形状试制件过程中产生大量的支撑结构,会造成打印丝材的浪费和降低打印效率,同时还会导致所打印的产品表面质量降低以及繁重的产品后处理工作。基于FDM龙门结构,通过增加打印平台2个旋转自由度和打印喷头的1个旋转自由度,提出了一种新型六自由度FDM打印机结构设计方案;并对打印平台和打印喷头的传动结构作进一步三维结构设计;对模型进行了仿真试验,验证了该装置能有效实现减少支撑结构效果,这对于FDM打印机结构设计优化提出了新的发展思路。
Design of a New Six-Degree-of-Freedom FDM Printer Structure Scheme
As one of the most widely used key technologies in the manufacturing industry,FDM technology(Fused Deposition Modelling)produces a large number of support structures in the process of printing overhanging and complex geometrical shapes of prototype parts,which will cause the waste of printing filament and reduce the efficiency of printing,and at the same time lead to the reduction of the quality of the surface of the products printed as well as heavy post-processing of the products.Based on the FDM gantry structure,a new six-degree-of-freedom FDM printer structure design scheme is proposed by increasing two rotational degrees of freedom of the printing platform and one rotational degree of freedom of the printhead;and the transmission structure of the printing platform and the printhead is further designed in three-dimensional structure;finally,simulation tests are carried out on the model,which verifies that the device can effectively reduce the effect of the support structure,and this proposes a new structural optimization scheme for FDM printers.This puts forward a new development idea for the optimisation of the printer structure design.
