Influence of Radial Clearance on the Performance of Anti-Rotating Flow Fan in a Coal Mine
In order to further explore the influence of radial clearance on fan performance in coal mine, this paper takes a local fan of a small coal mine enterprise as a case study, conducts modeling and simulation analysis, and determines the overall influence of different radial clearance on fan performance under both steady and unsteady conditions. The results show that when the radial clearance is reduced,it is helpful to increase the fan pressure head and work on the air flow, but at the same time,a small radial clearance will also lead to a more prominent aerodynamic noise problem of the fan and have a certain adverse impact on the flow rate of the fan. Therefore,it is reasonable to control the radial clearance in the range of 0.8%~1%of the blade diameter. The results provide a reference for the subsequent optimization design of the radial clearance of the anti-rotating axial fan in coal mine.
