Study on the Influence of Helical Rise Angle of Double Screw Cutting Head on Cutting Effect of XTR260 Hard Rock Roadheader
In order to further explore the optimization path of the double screw cutting head part of XTR260 hard rock roadheader, combined with the operating conditions of this part and the design drawings, firstly,we applied Pro/E three-dimensional modeling software to establish its solid model;and then,we applied the finite element analysis software ANSYS and the mechanical analysis software LS-DYNA to carry out a preliminary analysis of its mechanical properties under different parameters of the helix angle of lift, which shows that when the helix angle of lift is 0.5mm,the mechanical properties are affected by the helix angle of lift. The results show that when the helix lift angle is 14°,the cutting head can have better performance under both drilling and cross-cutting cutting conditions. It is expected that the results of this study will provide a certain reference for the optimisation of the design parameters of the double screw cutting head of hard rock roadheaders in the future.
