Study on the Effect of Lobe Top Clearance on the Flow Characteristics of Ventilator Lobe Top Region
In order to further optimize the operating characteristics of counter-rotating ventilators, the flow characteristics inside the ventilators under different leaf top clearances are investigated.Practical verification shows that the larger the lobe top clearance is,the higher the entropy loss of the fan in operation is,and the flow loss of the rear blade in the lobe top area will be significantly higher than that of the front blade. The larger the lobe top clearance is,the airflow leaked at the top of the front blade will form a vortex structure, leading to the formation of secondary leakage in the middle and the tail of the lobe top clearance, blocking the airflow inlet in the lobe top area, and resulting in the"wheezing"situation when the fan is running at high speed.
