Optimisation of Steam Turbine Exhaust Cooling System for Feedwater Pumps in Thermal Power Plants
Taking a 600 MW generating unit of a thermal power plant as an example,a method of optimising the exhaust cooling system of the feedwater pump turbine of a thermal power plant is introduced. The method mainly installs a hybrid cooler at the exhaust tail end of the turbine and adjusts the head of the inlet pump of the cooler to reduce the cost of turbine exhaust cooling treatment while ensuring the effect of exhaust cooling treatment.Through the application of this optimisation method, the turbine heat consumption rate and annual standard coal consumption can be signifiicantly reduced, and the economic efficiency of the thermal power plant can be improved, and the transformation cost can be recovered in about 1.1 years, which is of great significance to the operation of modern thermal power plants.
