Experiment on Cutting Force Analysis of Titanium Alloy under High Pressure Cooling by Ultrasonic Vibration
Titanium alloy has the characteristics of small thermal conductivity and large specific heat capacity, which is easy to cause the phenomenon of sticking knife when cutting,so that in the cutting stage, the temperature rises significantly and causes the problem of alloy softening, which is unable to ensure the requirements of high-precision machining, based on which,we set up a suitable interval of the value of the cutting parameters, and carry out the experiment of high-pressure cooling cutting force analysis of titanium alloy under the ultrasonic vibration. The research results show that:when the cutting speed is increased to obtain a greater cutting force,at a smaller cutting speed, ultrasonic vibration cutting to achieve a stronger separation performance, obtain than ordinary cutting force reduction of 40%effect.After entering the deeper area, the cutting force increased significantly, and the reduction of ultrasonic vibration cutting force remained stable with the depth of cut.Ultrasonic vibration cutting obtains better force reduction performance, and obtains a larger force than the conventional cutting method.
