Performance Analysis of Wedge-Shaped Rope Breakage Catching Devices with Different Inclination Angles for Overhead Occupant Devices
In the process of underground coal mining,the overhead travelling device is a commonly used personnel transport device,which can improve the efficiency and safety of personnel transport.In order to improve the safety of the overhead travelling device and avoid the danger caused by wire rope breakage,a wedge-shaped structure of rope breakage catching device is designed.According to the self-locking of the wedge-shaped slider to achieve the broken wire rope catching brake,after calculation,it can be seen that the inclination angle of the wedge-shaped slider can achieve self-locking when the angle of inclination is less than 13.6 °.Under this condition,the performance of wedge-shaped broken rope catching device with different inclination angles is simulated and analysed,and the results show that the larger the inclination angle of the wedge is,the smaller the value of the resulting stress is,which is conducive to the use of broken rope catching device.
