Structure Design and Comparative Analysis of Chain Drive System of Scraper Conveyor
In order to improve the meshing performance of the chain drive system of scraper conveyor,the structure of the chain drive system is optimized by selecting the design variables and establishing the approximate models of the maximum stress,maximum deformation and modal frequency of the sprocket wheel with the diameter and pitch of the sprocket wheel,and based on the results of the multi-objective optimization design,Scheme 1 is determined as the best optimization scheme.Comparative analysis of the sprocket before and after optimisation under full load operation shows that the maximum deformation of the sprocket is 6.95%lower than that of the original deformation before optimisation and the stress distribution tends to be uniform,which obviously improves the stress condition and meshing performance of the chain drive system.
