Methods for Improving Shock Load Resistance of Heavy-Duty Gearboxes
It is mainly discussed how to improve the transmission performance of heavy-duty gearboxes and extend the service life of gearboxes in limited space.Without changing the transmission characteristics of the meshing gear pair,after tooth root shot peening to increase the permissible bending stress value of the tooth root,by changing the top clearance coefficient of the gear pair,reduce the bending stress value of the gear,these two methods to improve the impact strength of the gear by about 23％.Greatly improve the heavy-duty gearbox gear vice impact load resistance.
