Numerical Simulation of Separation Characteristics of Spiral Overflow Tube Cyclone
In order to reduce the phenomenon of cyclone overflow running rough,a spiral overflow tube cyclone is proposed to improve the accuracy of cyclone separation by adding spiral blades in the overflow tube to inhibit the short-circuit flow and the upward velocity of internal overflow.CFD numerical simulation is used for simulation analysis to investigate the flow field law in the spiral overflow tube cyclone.The results show that compared with the conventional cyclone,the pressure gradient inside the spiral overflow tube cyclone is more obvious,the tangential velocity increases,the axial velocity decreases,the short-circuit flow rate is obviously reduced,and the overflow coarse particle content is greatly reduced.
