Mechanical Structure Analysis and Optimization Research on Driving Sprocket of Mining Scraper Conveyor
Taking the bilateral chain scraper conveyor commonly used in coal mines as the research object,finite element analysis was carried out on the meshing model between the driving sprocket and the circular chain with the help of SolidWorks and Ansys software.The results show that the maximum stress of the driving sprocket reaches 244 MPa,and there is an obvious stress concentration at the sprocket node,which makes the sprocket susceptible to fatigue damage during operation.Based on this,the structural dimension optimization is carried out at the sprocket nest,and the maximum stress value of the sprocket after optimization is reduced to 219.5 MPa,which is lower than the yield strength of the material,and the alleviation of the stress concentration phenomenon can obviously prolong the service life of the driving sprocket.The application of engineering practice shows that the optimized driving sprocket has good operation effect,which ensures the safety and stability of the equipment to a certain extent.
