Optimisation Design Study of Reversing Pulley of Coal Mine Belt Conveyor
The reversing pulley is an important structural component in the belt conveyor.Based on the response surface optimisation method and the numerical model established by ANSYS,the optimisation design of the structure is carried out,and the optimisation objective is to ensure that the performance of the pulley meets the requirements of the case of reducing the overall weight.The maximum deformation and maximum stress of the reversing drum increased by 19.65%and 0.46%respectively through structural optimisation,but within the constraints set by the model,it can meet the usage requirements.The overall weight of the drum is reduced from 1,290 kg to 1,116.11 kg,with a reduction of 13.41%,and its processing and production cost can be reduced by about 8%.The new reversing pulley is verified in engineering practice,and it is found that the overall operation is good and achieves the expected effect,and this structural optimisation creates good economic benefits for the enterprise.
