Study on Mechanical Strength of Catenary Wrist-Arm Device Under Ambient Wind Cconditions
The catenary cantilever is always affected by the environmental wind and other factors,which makes the mechanical strength of the cantilever decrease.Therefore,it is necessary to study the mechanical strength of the cantilever under the environmental wind.Based on fluid-solid theory and finite element theory,the mechanical strength of cantilever under different wind speed is studied.The research shows that the wind pressure reaches the maximum at 80m/s,the wind pressure of the pulloffcantilever is 120 kPa,and the wind pressure of the pushoffcantilever is 118kPa.When the instantaneous wind speed is 30-70m/s,the stress of the Cantilever is less than the maximum allowable stress,and the mechanical strength meets the requirements.When the wind speed is 80m/s,the stress of the cantilever is more than the maximum allowable stress,and the mechanical strength does not meet the requirements.
