Analysis of Laser Coating Performance of Tool Steel under Ultrasonic Milling Light Finishing Process
The processing of laser coating on the surface of cutting tool steel has been one of the key issues in the manufacturing field. In order to achieve a better effect of the laser coating, ultrasonic milling was used to process the laser coating, and performance tests were carried out.The results show that, after increasing the feed rate, the roughness of the milling surface under the action of ultrasonic waves decreases and then increases, and the surface residual stress and hardness increase and then decrease;with the increase of milling pressure, the surface roughness of the specimen shows a gradual increase from a small change, and the surface residual stress and hardness increases and then decreases. To determine the optimal parameters of the process:feed 0.12 mm,in the cutting pressure of 0.09 MPa.This study will help to improve the surface quality of the tool, for the subsequent advanced manufacturing to lay a certain foundation.
