Calculation of Rotational Resistance of Belt Conveyor Rollers and Analysis of Influencing Factors
Aiming at the problem of excessive rotational resistance of belt conveyor rollers,theoretical formulas are derived for the rotational resistance of rollers,and numerical simulations are carried out to analyse the effects of belt speed and load on the rotational resistance,and compare the theoretical calculations with the simulation results.The results show that:when the belt speed and load increase the rotational resistance has no linear transformation relationship,but shows a rising trend.The correctness of the theoretical calculation and numerical simulation is verified by measuring the measured data that the belt speed varies from 0.8 to 4 m/s when the load is kept constant and the load varies from 400 to 1 000 N when the belt speed is kept constant.
