Optimised Design of Automotive Transmission Gear ratios and Case Studies
Automotive transmission is one of the important parts of the car,its structure is simple,easy to operate,and has an important impact on the performance of the car.However,the design of its gear ratio generally uses the empirical formula or isometric progression allocation method,which has greater limitations.Therefore,by analysing the functions and problems of automotive transmissions,the optimization method of gear ratio allocation is proposed on the basis of traditional allocation method with the engine power as the target and based on the gear usage rate,and the feasibility of the method is verified through examples,which lays a theoretical foundation for the study of the gear ratio of the transmission.
