Simulation Analysis and Lightweight Design of the Reducer Housing in the Cutting Section of a Coal Mining Machine
Based on the finite element method,the lightweight design of the shell structure was carried out for the MG250/600-WD electric traction coal mining machine.Build a 3D model using PRO/E and create a simulation model using ANSYS software.As a result,it was found that the stress and deformation of the shell exhibited significant non-uniformity,and the maximum equivalent stress and deformation were both small,with redundancy issues in stiffness and strength.Taking the circular shell and convex structure with relatively small stress and deformation as the optimization objects,and the overall quality and deformation as the optimization objectives,lightweight design work was carried out,resulting in a reduction of 8.12%in the overall quality of the reducer shell.The feasibility of lightweight design schemes has been effectively verified through practical applications,which can create good economic and green benefits for enterprises.
