Feed rate of CFRP Micro-Drilling Affects the Experiment and Surface Quality Verification
The surface quality of carbon fiber reinforced composite(CFRP)can not meet the requirements because of conventional drilling technology. Therefore, the experimental analysis of the influence of feed speed on CFRP micro-drilling was carried out,and the comprehensive verification of the drilled surface structure was carried out, which laid a reliable foundation for improving the quality of hole making and improving the quality of hole making. The results show that in order to prevent the damage of tool structure and wall caused by cutting heat,it is reasonable to set the feed speed of 5mm/min.The maximum axial force is 4.5N at 2500rpm and 5mm/min.Increasing the feed speed will promote the increase of the axial force of the laminates. With the increase of feed rate, the pore fiber layer will fall off to a greater extent. The surface morphology of the outlet hole wall shows high smoothness, which verifies the accuracy of the micro-drilling design in this paper. The research has laid a reliable foundation for improving the quality of hole making and improving the quality of hole making.
