Analysis of Emergency Braking Control and Transmission Performance of Automotive CVT Clamping Force
Continuously variable transmission has been widely used in automotive transmission system,CVT clamping force directly affects transmission efficiency and vehicle fuel economy.Model predictive control is used to calculate the clamping force parameters of the system to prevent the clamping force error from decreasing the transmission efficiency.Firstly, the state space function is constructed by CVT dynamic equation, the clamping force prediction model is designed, and then the parameters are collected and analyzed in real time by the control model to obtain the optimal input of clamping force.Compared with the traditional control mode, the model predictive control model shows better control performance, which can reduce the pressure of the driven cylinder by 9.2%and increase the transmission efficiency by 9.5%.The research is helpful to improve the running stability of the vehicle under emergency braking conditions and ensure the safety efficiency.
