Influence of Tool Geometry Parameters on the Performance of Longitudinal Torsional Ultrasonic Vibratory Milling
High-strength steel has certain difficulties in the cutting process due to its high hardness, which in turn affects the machining quality.Ordinary cutting technology is difficult to meet the requirements, the introduction of ultrasonic vibration assistance is currently a commonly used technical means. To high strength steel 30CrNi2MoVA as a test object, experimental analysis of longitudinal torsion ultrasonic vibration assisted milling parameter optimisation and residual stress analysis. The results of the study determine the optimal parameter matching:back angle 10 °,front angle 2 °,helix angle 40 °,cutting edge radius of 0.01 mm.from the tool geometry parameters on the residual stress of the degree of influence in descending order:the helix angle, the degree of influence of the cutting edge radius, the front angle and back angle. This study helps to improve the efficiency of milling machining, and has good practical guidance for improving the quality of milling machining.
