Optimisation of Cutting Parameters of Key Components of Artificial Knee Joint Based on VERICUT
With the wide application of artificial knee joints,the requirements for their manufacturing quality and performance are increasing.Titanium alloy has become an ideal material for making artificial knee joints due to its excellent biocompatibility,high strength and corrosion resistance.However,the machining of titanium alloy is difficult,and how to optimise the machining parameters in order to improve the machining precision,surface quality and production efficiency has become an urgent problem to be solved.By studying the CNC machining process of artificial knee joint,comparing the key parameters such as different cutting speeds,feed per tooth,cutting width,etc.,and analysing the changes of chip thickness and cutting force during the machining process,the optimal machining parameters are obtained,which provide a theoretical basis and practical guidance for the efficient machining of artificial knee joints.
