Research and Application of Cone Liner Nut Removal Process for Gyratory Crushers
The gyratory crusher used in Namibia's Lake Mountain Uranium Mine used to directly loosen the big nut,cut the locking big nut and cut the torch ring and other processes to remove the nut during the dynamic cone refurbishment work, which is easy to cause damage to the key parts, and it is difficult to overhaul, the cost of spare parts is high.Based on this, combined with the structural arrangement of the equipment,a new cutting process is researched and applied,i.e.,by adopting the way of cutting the upper liner, the sensitive areas such as threaded fits and journals are avoided, which greatly reduces the difficulty of overhauling, and saves the cost of spares at the same time.
