Optimization Design of Coal Mine Ventilation Fan Blade Based on Finite Element Method
Based on the finite element method, the performance of Y4-73 centrifugal fans used in coal mines was studied for fans with different blade structures.Firstly,a brief overview of the centrifugal fan and impeller blades is provided.Based on this,a finite element model of the centrifugal fan is constructed using SolidWorks and CFD software, and three blade structures, namely plate, airfoil, and thin airfoil, are designed.Through comparative research,it has been found that the airfoil structure exhibits significant advantages in ventilation efficiency, and the total pressure coefficient of the airfoil structure reaches its maximum under high flow conditions. Therefore,it is recommended to use airfoil structure blades.According to the optimization plan, the centrifugal ventilation fan was technically modified, and it was found through comparison that the performance of the modified ventilation fan has been improved to a certain extent, playing a more important role in ensuring coal mine safety production.
