一种基于局部复杂度的水下图像增强方法

因水下信道的特殊性及成像的复杂性,水下图像多呈现出对比度低、边缘模糊等缺陷.提出一种基于局部复杂度的图像增强算法并用于水下图像的增强,不仅锐化了目标边缘,还提高了图像整体对比度.由于局部复杂度对噪声不敏感,所以本算法还具有较好的抗噪性,实验结果表明,可以有效地增强水下图像.
A new method for underwater image enhancement based on local complexity
Underwater images usually present low contrast and blurry edges because of the particularity of underwater signal channel and the complexity of imaging environment.A novel local complexity based underwater image enhancement method is proposed.By proposed method the underwater image is enhanced and the edges of objects are sharpened.Local complexity is insensitive to noises,so the proposed method has good ability to deal with noise.Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of this method.
