Preparation and Properties of Impact-resistant Improved Light Cross-linked Syndiotactic Polypropylene Composite
An modification agent was prepared through the reaction of caprolactone and lignin. This agent, along with a crosslinking agent and sulfur, was blended with syndiotactic polypropylene(sPP),resulting in a micro-crosslinked sPP composite prepared through extrusion crosslinking. The mechanical properties, fluidity and thermal stability of the resulting micro-crosslinked sPP composites were tested.Experimental results indicated that the composite achieved optimal mechanical properties with a ratio of PP,crosslinking agent, modification agent, and sulfur at 100/0.2/1.0/0.3,and the maximum bending strength and impact strength of the composite were increased by 11%and 116%,respectively,compared with pure sPP.
