Mangiferin,a chemical compound found in mango leaves,is found to have an effective pharmacological effect in treating hyperuricemia.Research indicates that mangiferin can inhibit uric acid production and increase its excretion,thus improving kidney function and maintaining uric acid balance.The paper systematically reviews the mechanisms by which mangiferin reduces uric acid levels.Additionally,it discusses the potential for utilizing mango tree leaves as medicinal resource and puts forward the study trends of the natural ingredient mangiferin which extracts primarily from mango tree leaves.
