A Study on the Settlement Impact of Adjacent Excavation of Multiple Foundation Pits on the Surrounding Environment
This study takes A and B foundation pits in a certain industrial park as a case study to explore the impact of adjacent excavation of multiple foundation pits on the settlement of the surrounding environment.Through data from monitoring points,it was found that adjacent ex-cavation stages have a correlation between settlement and distance from the foundation pit.The settlement curves of different monitoring points in terms of spatial dimensions show diverse trends and there are overlapping effects.A foundation pit adopts a concrete cast-in-place pile sys-tem,with overall stability higher than B foundation pit,and its vertical displacement shows periodic changes. The joint influence of multiple adjacent foundation pits leads to settlement, especially at the external corners at the junction.
