Study on the Deformation of Deep Foundation Pit Excavation and Impact on Neighboring Viaducts in Dense Building Environment
Combined with on-site monitoring data,a numerical model of a deep foundation pit excavation process is established using the finite element method to study the deformation law of the deep foundation pit excavation enclosure structure and its impact on the neighboring eleva-tion among dense urban buildings. The results indicate that the pit excavation causes the soil outside the pit to displace in the direction of the pit, while the soil inside the pit primarily exhibits uplift deformation. The deformation of the enclosure structure due to soil layer displacement follows an increasing and then decreasing pattern along the depth direction, with the maximum displacement occurring near the excavation sur-face.The foundation pit excavation leads to the bending of the viaduct construction piles in the direction of the foundation pit and results in the deformation of the upper piers and bridge deck.
