Research on the Application of High-viscosity,High-elasticity,Ultra-thin Modified Asphalt Overlays in Bridge Maintenance
In the long-term operation of bridges,the appearance of cracks,ruts,and exposed aggregates on the asphalt pavement of the bridge surface reduces the safety and comfort of driving.This article,set against the background of the maintenance of the Nanzhao Huai River Bridge,conducts research and analysis on the design and construction process control of high-viscosity and high-elastic ultra-thin modified as-phalt wearing course mixtures.Through experiments on specialized graded mixtures and verification of post-construction surface smoothness,friction coefficient,structural depth and permeability coefficient of the bridge,it is found that high-viscosity and high-elastic asphalt has ex-cellent road performance and potential to become a new type of material for bridge pavement layers.
