Optimization of Sewer Network Based on Risk and Damage
As an important infrastructure in a city, improper operation or failure of sewage pipelines can lead to partial interruption of urban functions.Identifying high-risk areas for faults can be checked and optimized for repair based on system status, significantly improving the per-formance of drainage networks. The weighted average method is used in the article to calculate the fault value of the pipeline network and rank the risk levels. The results indicate that the majority(49%)of sewage pipelines in the study area are at medium risk, with 25%of pipelines at medium to high risk.In the article,closed-circuit television was used for fault detection of pipelines with higher risk levels. It was found that 75.6%of the pipelines had their functions affected, and corresponding repair measures were taken for the faulty pipelines.
