Effect of Polypropylene Fiber Content and Length on Mechanical Properties of Self-compacting Concrete
In order to explore the effect of polypropylene fiber reinforced self-compacting concrete, the mechanical properties and working properties of concrete with different dosage of polypropylene fiber and different length were tested. The results show that the addition of polypro-pylene fiber is conducive to improving the mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete, and obvious fiber aggregation problem will occur when the content is higher than 0.12%,which will affect the structural properties of concrete. It is recommended to use 0.12%as the content of polypropylene fiber, and the compressive strength of concrete will not change significantly when the use of longer polypropylene fiber. But the flexural strength and splitting tensile strength will be significantly improved.
