Study on the Influence of Different Fly Ash Content on the Performance of Self-compacting Concrete
In this paper, the effects of different fly ash content on impermeability and mechanical properties of self-compacting concrete are tested. The results show that the compressive strength of concrete specimens at the curing age of 7 days and 28 days decreases with the increase of fly ash content. At the curing age of 90 days, the compressive strength of concrete specimens added with 20%fly ash is slightly higher than that of the group without fly ash,but the increase is only about 0.8%.The addition of fly ash to self-compacting concrete can effectively im-prove its impermeability. When 20%fly ash is added at the curing age of 28 days and 90 days, the water absorption of concrete specimens rea-ches the highest value, and the structural impermeability at this time is the best among all groups in the same age group.
