Research on Flexural Performance of New Composite Beams with Fabricated BFRP Profiles and Concrete
In order to analyze the flexural properties of prefabricated composite beams, the four-point bending beam test was used to compare the flexural properties of new composite beams made of stainless steel pipes,BFRP profiles and composite pipes. The results show that the fail-ure modes of the three new assembled BFRP profile-concrete composite beams are no crack stage, pure bend crack development stage, oblique crack development stage and beam concrete crushing stage. There are more cracks in the new composite concrete beams, but all of them are micro cracks and the crack width is small. The maximum limit load of the new composite concrete beam is 127.9 kN,the minimum mid-span deflection is19.2 mm,and the minimum mid-span strain is 2 700 με.The new composite pipe-closed inclined stirrup concrete composite beam has stronger bearing capacity and deformation resistance.
